Wenge Wood in Plank Form – Dark Elegance with Natural Strength

Wenge is a dense and hard tropical hardwood native to Central Africa, especially countries like the Democratic Republic of Congo, Cameroon, and Gabon. It grows slowly in rainforest areas, resulting in wood with exceptional density, strength, and stability.

In plank form, wenge displays a rich dark brown color with striking black grain, giving it a calm and exclusive appearance. It is often used in contexts where both function and aesthetics matter – such as furniture, stair treads, countertops, musical instruments, flooring, and fine joinery.
