With this data logger you can measure the frequency of a person's inhalation and exhalation. It is useful when making measurements e.g. related to physical activity.
The respirator logger comes with a belt which is tightened around the subject and measures the air pressure in the belt. The pressure changes as the person breathes. From the values, the respiratory rate can be calculated.
The supplied belt is directly connected to the data logger with flexible rubber hoses and to a hand pump with a pressure release valve.
Measurement results from the respiratory logger are measured in Arb, which is an abbreviation of Arbitrary analog units, which means that there is no unit associated with the measurement results.
